Manufactured by Silky (UM Kogyo) in Ono, Japan, the Tsurugi 200 Fine/Thin Branch Teeth (474-20) is a high-precision, straight-blade sheathed saw engineered specifically for intricate pruning in tightly packed branch unions, dense shrubbery, and crowded foliage where standard saws cannot reach.  

Named after the traditional Japanese long sword (Tsurugi), this saw features an ultra-narrow blade profile designed to slip effortlessly into tight V-shaped crotches and dense foliage without snagging or nicking adjacent limbs. To prevent bending, Silky utilizes an innovative 1.8mm Heavy-Duty Blade Thickness, giving the slender spine exceptional rigidity and zero blade flutter. The 200mm blade is crafted from premium SK95 High-Carbon Steel with Mirai-Me Technology and fine/thin branch tooth geometry that cuts smoothly with minimal resistance. With Impulse Hardened Teeth, the cutting edge maintains razor sharpness up to three times longer than standard saws.  

The full-tang structure is housed in Silky’s tool-less Genki Grip, a 2-piece vibration-dampening rubber handle that can be disassembled by hand in seconds for quick blade swaps without screws. Comes equipped with a high-tech lightweight Aluminum Sheath featuring a 4-roller system and a finger-trigger detent lock that prevents accidental falls during high-climbing or upside-down maneuvers.
