Manufactured by Silky (UM Kogyo) in Ono, Japan, the Gomtaro 300 Large Teeth (102-30) is the maximum-length straight-blade sheathed saw in the legendary Gomtaro line. Engineered for heavy-duty arboriculture, forestry, and large-scale estate maintenance, its long 300mm blade delivers maximum stroke leverage and cutting velocity straight from the hip holster to power through thick limbs with speed and ease.

Built with Silky’s full-tang Monoblade Concept, the high-carbon steel core extends continuously through the rubber handle for unyielding structural rigidity and maximum energy transfer. The blade is crafted from premium Japanese SK95 High-Carbon Steel with Mirai-Me Technology and aggressive coarse teeth (8 teeth per 30mm) that clear thick greenwood rapidly without clogging or sap binding. Precision mirror-ground without tooth set (Non-Set Teeth), it produces exceptionally clean cuts that promote rapid tree bark recovery. With Impulse Hardened Teeth, the cutting edge maintains razor sharpness up to three times longer than standard saws.

The vulcanized elastomer rubber grip dampens vibration to protect hand and wrist joints during heavy use. Comes complete with a durable polypropylene sheath equipped with internal entry rollers for smooth drawing and an automatic safety lock to keep the saw secure during movement on site.
