Manufactured by Silky (UM Kogyo) in Ono, Japan, the Gomboy 240 Large Teeth (294-24) is a powerful, long-reach folding saw built for heavy-duty pruning and rapid wood clearing. Combining a 240mm blade with an extended 505mm overall length, it delivers maximum stroke leverage to slice effortlessly through thick greenwood, heavy orchard branches, and landscape timber.

The blade is crafted from premium Japanese SK4 High-Carbon Steel and features Silky’s proprietary Mirai-Me Technology. Precision mirror-ground without tooth set (Non-Set Teeth), its coarse tooth configuration (7 teeth per 30mm) bites deeply into soft, sap-heavy wood without clogging, leaving a smooth, clean surface that protects trees from disease. With Impulse Hardened Teeth, the cutting edge maintains razor sharpness up to three times longer than standard blades.

The heavy-duty steel-core handle is overmolded with a non-slip Elastomer Rubber Grip, absorbing vibration and providing complete control during demanding cuts. A robust 2-Position Locking Mechanism allows easy blade angle adjustment for standard sawing or flush-cut pruning.
