Crafted under the renowned Onoyoshi brand, model K-272-G2 is a professional-grade 270mm single-handed hedge shear meticulously hand-forged from scratch using high-carbon solid steel (Zenko). Designed in the specialized "Moroha" (Double-Edge Slim) style, the back of the blades is carefully ground down to achieve a lighter weight and slimmer profile without sacrificing cutting power.

Forged from a single piece of high-carbon cutlery steel through over 100 manual processes in Ono City, Hyogo Prefecture, it offers superior durability and long-lasting sharpness (Nagagire). The lightweight and narrow design makes it exceptionally easy to maneuver for fine leaf trimming (Hagari), shaping tender shoots, and operating in tight spaces or high on ladders. Engineered with a deep Hollow Ground Back (Urasuki) for sap resistance and secured with a Screw Joint and handle latch (Kanamedome), it comes equipped with an integrated safety finger guard for enhanced hand protection during continuous operation.
