Unlike composite blades, the entire tool—from blade to handle—is forged from a single piece of high-carbon cutlery steel through over 100 manual processes by skilled craftsmen in Ono City, Hyogo Prefecture, delivering outstanding durability and long-lasting edge retention.

Featuring a precision straight double-edge design, this model excels at fine leaf trimming (Hagari), shaping hedge surfaces, and neatly cutting tender shoots without damaging delicate leaves.
