Description

Handcrafted by Ono-Yoshi in Ono, Hyogo Prefecture—a historic center famous for Banshu Miki cutlery—these full-sized 200mm A-Type pruning secateurs (Model A-200-2) are individually forged and hand-finished by master blacksmiths. Engineered with a slim, refined A-type blade geometry, they provide exceptional cutting precision with reduced resistance, allowing smooth, continuous slicing through live branches with minimal effort.

Featuring master-level blade crossover engagement (suriawase), these secateurs deliver a remarkably smooth, neutral, and consistent cutting action without catching. The versatile 200mm length offers optimal balance, reach, and leverage, making it an ideal choice for professional landscapers, arborists, and orchardists who require a lightweight yet full-powered tool to tackle continuous daily pruning. Complete with an authentic Hollow Ground Back (Urasuki) and hand-adjusted Hinari alignment, they effectively shed sap and resin while maintaining a razor-sharp edge.
