IMPORTANT USAGE & CARE GUIDE FOR CARBIDE TOOLS
- Full-Surface Strike Alignment: Always ensure the entire striking surface makes flat contact with the stone. Striking at an angle (hitting on points or corners only) will cause the delicate carbide tips to chip.
- Break-In Period: Exercise extreme caution when using a brand-new tool. Gradually break in the sharp edges by slowly rounding them off and allowing the tool to adapt to your workflow during initial use.
- Delicate Nature of Carbide: Carbide products are extremely hard yet brittle and sensitive to impact shock. Please handle with care.
- Note on Chipping: Due to the nature of carbide tools, improper striking angles may cause minor chipping along the edges or corners. This is a normal characteristic of high-hardness striking tools and is not considered a product defect. Chipped edges can easily be repaired and re-sharpened using a diamond grinding stone.
- Storage: Wipe away dust, moisture, and debris immediately after use. Store in a dry location.
