Forged in Miki, Japan, by master sawmakers at Hishika Industry (established in 1947), the "Noko-House" 210mm Hand-Forged Pruning Saw offers expanded stroke length and cutting leverage combined with enhanced blade toughness. Measuring 330mm in total length with a 210mm blade, this fixed-blade saw is engineered for fruit growers, professional landscapers, and arborists managing medium-to-large branch pruning.

While crafted with traditional full-blade hand-tempering by Miki blacksmiths, the "Noko-House" series features a slightly moderated heat treatment compared to Hishika’s flagship full-hardness line. This precise adjustment retains exceptional razor sharpness while imparting higher steel elasticity and fracture resistance, making the blade more resilient against chipping during tough field conditions.

Built with Hishika’s signature Back-Tapered Thin Blade Geometry (Sen-Togi), the blade spine is ground thinner than the cutting teeth to eliminate kerf friction and prevent binding in green wood. Slicing cleanly through plant cell walls, it leaves mirror-smooth cross-sections that accelerate natural tree callusing and guard against disease. Crafted from premium Japanese carbon tool steel, this saw is fully resharpenable (Metate) for decades of continuous trade service.

Note for Users: Although formulated with added toughness, this hand-tempered high-carbon steel blade remains a precision cutting tool. Apply force exclusively on the PULL stroke without twisting or flexing the blade excessively.
