Handcrafted in Miki, Japan, by master blacksmiths at Hishika Industry, this precision replacement blade restores the expanded stroke efficiency, silky-smooth pull, and surgical cutting accuracy of your original tool.

Each blade undergoes traditional full-blade hand-tempering, creating an optimal balance of steel elasticity, long-lasting edge retention, and sharp tooth bite. Featuring Hishika's signature Back-Tapered Thin Blade Geometry (Sen-Togi), the blade spine is ground thinner than the cutting edge to reduce friction inside the cut, preventing binding during medium-to-large branch work. The razor-sharp edge leaves smooth cross-sections that accelerate natural branch callusing and protect plant tissue from rot. Made from high-grade Japanese carbon steel, this blade is fully resharpenable (Metate) for decades of continuous use.
