Each blade undergoes traditional full-blade hand-tempering, creating an ideal balance of steel elasticity, edge retention, and sharp tooth bite. Featuring Hishika's signature Back-Tapered Thin Blade Geometry (Sen-Togi), the spine is ground thinner than the cutting edge to reduce friction inside the cut, preventing pinching during medium-sized branch work.
