Forged in Miki—Japan’s historic center of master sawmaking—by Hishika Industry (established in 1947), this premium set pairs Hishika’s 150mm Hand-Forged Mini Pruning Saw with a heavy-duty leather belt holster specifically engineered to house the saw along with its wooden scabbard.

The 150mm mini saw measures 260mm overall, making it exceptionally nimble for tight branch crotches, detailed orchard pruning, and precision tree work. Each high-carbon steel blade undergoes traditional full-blade hand-tempering by master smiths to deliver maximum sharpness, flexibility, and a silky pull-stroke action. Featuring Hishika's Back-Tapered Thin Blade Geometry (Sen-Togi), the blade spine is ground thinner than the cutting edge to prevent binding. The clean edge leaves mirror-smooth cuts that accelerate branch healing. Like all authentic Hishika tools, the blade is fully resharpenable (Metate).

The included leather holster (255mm total length) is designed for professional field efficiency. Fitting standard work belts, it securely holds the wooden scabbard inside, protecting the wood from splitting while allowing smooth, one-handed draw and sheathing. The open-bottom design allows sawdust and debris to fall through naturally for effortless maintenance.
