Hasamiya Ichiban Kyo-Style Gate-Hedge Shears 200mm Yasugi Yellow Paper Steel / Oak Handle 360mm [Traditional Hand-Forged from Scratch / Urasuki Hollow Ground / Rivet Joint / Kyo-Style Gate Profile]

Description

Crafted under the prestigious Hasamiya Ichiban brand, item NO.930 is a lightweight, highly maneuverable Kyoto-style gate hedge shear designed specifically for fine leaf trimming, finishing work, and soft green wood pruning. Traditional hand-forged from scratch using Yasugi (Yellow Paper Steel), these blades excel at biting smoothly into wood, providing effortless, crisp slicing action without resistance.

The 200mm blades incorporate a traditional hollow ground back (Urasuki) to minimize friction and prevent tree sap adhesion. Built with a solid Rivet Joint structure and paired with a medium 360mm Japanese white oak handle weighing just 760g, it offers extended reach while maintaining exceptionally light handling and precise control for intricate foliage work. Built to professional standards for landscapers, arborists, and fine greenery specialists. (Note: Intended for foliage and soft fresh branches; avoid cutting dry or hard branches).
