Description

Crafted by Yoshioka Hamono, the Hasami Masamune NO.127 is a long-blade sharp-angle Japanese hedge shear engineered for outstanding cutting efficiency and smooth penetration into foliage. Hand-forged from scratch using high-grade Yasugi Shirogami (White Paper Steel), this shear offers a razor-sharp edge, exceptional bite into plant material, and unmatched ease of resharpening in the field.

The blades feature a traditional hollow ground back (Urasuki) to reduce friction and sap buildup, combined with a subtle propeller-twisted blade design that ensures optimal edge alignment and a crisp, clean bite. Equipped with an extended 210mm blade paired with a 510mm (1.7 shaku) Japanese white oak handle, it provides powerful leverage, exceptional coverage, and long reach for effortless shaping of hedges and landscape greenery. Built to professional standards, this shear delivers long-lasting reliability for landscapers, arborists, and traditional Japanese garden specialists.
