Naniwa Square Oilstone Stick #320 -
OVERVIEW & PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The essential precision square stick stone for flat bevels, 90-degree corners, and detailed tool maintenance.
Manufactured in Japan by Naniwa Abrasives, the IQ-1033 Square Oilstone Stick is a specialized abrasive rod engineered for detail honing and deburring where full-sized bench stones are impractical. Formulated with high-density aluminum oxide, it holds sharp 90-degree corners and flat surfaces with exceptional resistance to wear.
Featuring a 16mm × 16mm square cross-section with a 100mm length, this stone provides four distinct flat working faces and four rigid 90-degree edges. It is ideal for honing small chisel bevels, deburring the flat backs of Japanese pruning shears (Ueki-basami), cleaning up square channels, and maintaining fine woodworking tools. Can be used with hone oil or water.
