Crafted in Ono City, Hyogo Prefecture under the traditional Azumagawa brand, item NO.57 is a standard 270mm professional-grade single-handed hedge shear. Hand-forged from scratch using premium Japanese Yasugi high-carbon steel, it features a deep Hollow Ground Back (Urasuki) design that significantly minimizes sap and resin buildup during repetitive cutting tasks.

Featuring a 130mm blade (from bolt center to tip) on a 270mm overall frame, this tool is perfectly sized for foliage maintenance, hedge shaping, and working in narrow spaces or high on ladders. Designed with a Twist Blade geometry for optimal cutting angles and secured with a Screw Joint, this model comes equipped with an integrated safety finger guard for hand protection during continuous operation.
