Description

Crafted under the traditional Azumagawa brand, item NO.649 is a professional-grade, lightweight, and slim-profile single-handed hedge shear meticulously hand-forged from scratch using premium Japanese Yasugi high-carbon steel. Featuring an exceptionally sharp blade finish and extended reach, this tool is specifically engineered for precise leaf trimming (Hagari), pine needle trimming (Matsuba-kiri), and working in tight spaces or high on ladders.

This model features a sophisticated Twist Blade geometry, where a subtle rotational twist on the blade optimizes the cutting angle for cleaner, effortless shearing with reduced resistance. Combined with a traditional Hollow Ground Back (Urasuki) for smooth blade engagement and secured with a Screw Joint, it delivers superior control and extended range without a guard.
