This deluxe model features a specialized Dual-Spring System (W-Spring). It combines a soft V-spring (Mushi-bane) for smooth, fluid handle action with an integrated Cushion Shock-Absorbing Spring that absorbs the jarring snap impact when completing a cut. This dramatically reduces impact shock transferred to the hand, wrist, and elbow, preventing joint fatigue and repetitive strain injuries during high-volume commercial pruning. Its custom-contoured ergonomic handle design offers an exceptionally natural hold that stays secure in the palm.

Precision-forged from high-grade carbon steel using Tobisho’s signature traditional lead-bath heat treatment (Namari-bus)—quenching at 800°C in a molten lead bath—the steel achieves an extraordinary balance of hardness, toughness, and edge retention without oxidation or decarburization.
